Dörrbecker wins race-2 at Imola in the Boss GP: he is the champion 2016 of Auto GP

Four drivers at the wheel of a single seater Auto GP participated in the last round of the championship Boss GP 2016, on the Imola track, competing in the category Formula. On the Italian track Luis Michael Dörrbecker (Torino Squadra Corte) was the best of the 4. Second in his category in qualifying, the German of Mexican descent was placed 1st in race-1 in his class (2nd overall). After, Dörrbecker had not really rivals in race-2, which won beating even the most powerful cars of the Open category. Also the young Indian Mahaveer Raghunathan (PS Racing) was at Imola: 3rd in his class in the first race, retiring in race 2 when he was 2nd overall. PS Racing team in Italy has also entered a second car for the Roman Emanuele Romani, 7th in his class in race-1 and 4th in race-2. Finally, the Zele Racing team has entered the Austrian Philipp Sager, 6th in class Formula in race-1 and 3rd in the final race. At the end of the season, Dörrbecker concluded the Boss GP championship in 2nd place with 169 points, while Raghunathan resulted 4th with 118. Speaking about the Championship Auto GP, victory went to Dörrbecker, before Raghunathan and Von Grünigen . Torino Squadra Corse Team won the title for teams.
